Directions to West Mayo Summer Sup Louisburgh is Westport’s secret west, where all the beautiful beaches are, with stunning and extraordinary scenery, boosting spectacular views of Croagh Patrick. Old Head Beach and pier is a very safe and idyllic location for Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Kayaking and is known locally as a family beach, safe for swimming, pier jumping, walks in the woods. Whether you’re new to Paddle Boarding and Kayaking or not, you will make wonderful memories in our beautiful surroundings.

Find us at Old Head Beach, Mayo
As you arrive down into Old head, you will find our oak clad container in the main car park. Here you will sign in for your lessons and get kitted out to start your adventure.
We also have a beach station so staff can watch over the water to ensure safety. There is car parking available but it can get very busy in the height of the summer so give yourself extra time.
There is a Leave No Trace system in place on all beaches, so please take home any rubbish and belongings you bring with you. This is very important to us, so we thank you in advance for taking part.
